Reflective Essay

Making a Blog is not easy. Especially, when you don't know how to make it. But I tried my best to know and make it more attractive. I Spend more time on making this blog. Because i want to make it very attractive to other people. I realized that it is very important to explore things. I found out that it is very an enjoyable work. Now, I'm still working on my blog because I want to finish it perfectly. I didn't put a lot of designs on my blog. the important is that my all outputs is completely stated. Even though my work is not good at all, but I'm still proud on my work.

What Christmas Means To Me

We all experience christmas once in a year. Celebrating the birth of our saviour Jesus Christ. Some people celebrate christmas differently, but it is all based upon the birth of Jesus Christ.

There are lots of opinions about the meaning of christmas. But for me, Christmas means to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and its a time to thank the Lord for what he has done for us in this World. Christmas is a time when you get together with your family and its a time when you forget all the bad things that have happened to you and think about all the good ones. Christmas is to spend time to the people when you love. Christmas is to spend time to the people whom you love. Christmas means remembering the birth of Jesus Christ, the one who died for us. And Christmas is the day to forget all your worries and your sadness. It's remembering that Jesus cares about you. It's the time when you give without accepting anything in return.

I hope that all of us will give importance on celebrating Christmas.

REACTION PAPER “Thank You, Ma’am”

In this story a woman with a very kind heart and an understanding one change the boy’s view of life and living and done a very generous thing to help the boy realize and open his consciousness on how complicated life is, through the woman’s acts of kindness that usually we can’t barely find nowadays. These acts of kindness are selfless acts that were shown in the story by Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones to either help or cheer up a stranger who tries to snatch her purse for a new pair of blue suede shoes. Having not succeeded in his aim, the stranger was simply turned around and kicked in his blue-jeanesitter by the large woman. After a short conversation where the woman finds out the need of the boy to learn things about life, she brought the boy in her house and there she offers what she can help. The boy without knowing what to do was forced to come with the woman because he was not turn loose and was drag from the street to the house of the woman. In the next line of the story we can conclude that the woman is a good mother and also a good teacher. For she can give good advices and teaches the boy how to be nurtured. And she also shows the persistence to take care of the boy despite of what happened. She’s a very caring mother. At the house, being promised by the woman to wash the dirty face of the boy, the woman let the boy to wash his face in the sink and the woman gave him a clean towel. Being treated like a son the boy couldn’t ask for more. The woman tried to teach the boy what is right and what is wrong. She gave him food, a nice conversation and even gave the boy the chance to escape but the boy couldn’t do it for the woman shows her ways of hospitality and good treatment to the boy.  He did not trust the woman not to trust him. And he did not want to be mistrusted now. In that statement where Roger was ask by Mrs. Jones why did he attempts to snatch her pocketbook, it seems that Mrs. Jones wants Roger to learn another tactic to earn money and gain all what you want than snatching someone’s pocketbook. That’s why she shared about something that she also have wanted before, things she don’t have at the same age of Roger and done some things that are wrong ways to grant some of those things that you want. Doing the right thing is doing it when you don’t have to. “you could have asked boy” is an example of what could have happened if he had not attempted stealing. Attempting to steal hurts yourself by complete degradation of peoples trust in you. It also hurts others to see you lie, someone they believed in and trusted. Doing wrong is harder than doing what is right. From that alone the boy has opened a new path of his life to follow. Thanks to Mrs. Jones who have lead him to that path. Now it is his choice to follow the right or the wrong. For what he had heard from Mrs. Jones he could have a better life than he has now. He should be thankful enough for a new chapter of his life was revealed. And not bonded to his boring and undeveloped life where he had experienced an unfruitful life in his past years. Where dependence overwhelms all hope and struggle to survive and doing anything just to garner all he has wanted.

This is a very touching story but can’t connect in modern times. Because for all we have observe everybody gets already selfish. No one attempts to help teenagers who are caught from stealing. Instead they’ll be sent to jail directly. This is happening because no one trusts anybody anymore for we have known life is tricky one wrong move can lead to destruction. It is the matter of believing on what is right and wrong. The choice is yours to make. Life is still a battle that never ends. For Roger have learned the lesson in morality, he gets the price to change his life’s direction and enters the path of perfection where you are bonded to do right things.
